Welcome back to another summer of cricket with the North West Sydney Hurricanes. Whether you have been at the club for a decade or you are still working out where the nets are, we are glad to have you.
What’s ahead
We field sides right across the Sydney Shires competition, two teams in the Metropolitan Cup, a Masters side, and representative age-group teams for our juniors. That’s a lot of cricket, and it only happens because people put their hand up — to play, to score, to run the barbecue, to drive a carload of kids to a Saturday morning game.
A new website
You are looking at it. The plan is simple: fixtures and ladders link straight to PlayHQ so they are never out of date, and everything else — news, teams, club information — can be kept current by the committee without anyone needing to be a web developer.
If something on here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we’ll fix it.
Getting involved
Nets are open to anyone who wants to come down and have a hit. New players are welcome at every level, from juniors picking up a hard ball for the first time through to Masters players who should probably know better.
